Getting to Know Trang Prosak, O.D.

Trang Prosak, O.D. is a residency-trained optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care for a variety of conditions including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and dry eyes. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University, where she went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Prosak completed her residency training in Ocular Disease at the Cleveland VA Medical Center.

After her residency, she worked as a clinical faculty at The University of Houston, College of Optometry where she taught and saw patients in the Family Practice and the Ocular Diagnostic/Medical Eye Services. She then joined Baylor College of Medicine where she provided comprehensive eye care to the indigent population of the greater Houston area. Dr. Prosak moved back to Ohio in 2021. Before joining CVP Physicians Dayton, she worked at the Wright-Patterson Laser Refractive Surgery Clinic where she provided pre- and post-op care to members of all branches of the military.

In her free time, Dr. Prosak enjoys painting nature and portraits as well as going to the park with her family.
